Luka Modric admits that his goal against Everton was one of the best of his career.
The midfielder scored Tottenham’s second in the 2-1 win at White Hart Lane on Sunday where he managed to clip the ball over Tim Howard’s head that went in off the underside of the crossbar. The build-up of the goal had seen Modric link up neatly with his Croatian counterparts Vedran Corluka and Niko Kranjcar.
“It was one of the best goals I’ve scored,” Modric said.
“We know each other from the national team. I’m very happy but the most important thing is that we won this game, it was a massive win.”
