Modric set to return against Arsenal

Luka Modric - Tottenham news

Luka Modric could return to the Tottenham side for Tuesday’s Carling Cup clash against Arsenal.

The Croatian midfielder has been out of action since suffering a leg injury in the 1-1 draw at West Brom earlier this month, thankfully initial fears that he may have broken his leg proved to be premature.

Modric’s creativity and industry would be a massive boost ahead of the tie, or it could be that Harry rests him until Saturday’s game against West Ham.

Redknapp said: “Luka is back in the frame and making good progress. It will be great to have more competition for places.”

  1. I would love to see the combination of Modric and Sandro, even if just for one half..After watching Sandro play for Internacional i am sure he is going to set the premier league alight. After leaving Internacional with a champions league medal their results of late have not been good.
