Mohammed Kudus reveals funny thing Djed Spence told him after World Cup draw

Mohammed Kudus has revealed the exchange he has already had with Tottenham teammate Djed Spence after England were drawn against Ghana in Group L.

The 25-26 season is set to be a long one for football players, especially with the World Cup arriving in the summer.

Tottenham Hotspur already have 17 players preparing to represent their nations in Mexico, Canada and the USA, while four more still have a realistic chance of making the final cut.

The draw has since been made for all forty-eight teams involved, and already there are four all-Tottenham clashes in the group stage.

Mohammed Kudus reveals what Djed Spence told him ahead of England vs Ghana clash

One of those clashes will see England face Ghana in Group L, matching Mohammed Kudus directly against Djed Spence.

A ball is yet to be kicked in the competition, but he banter appears to have started early, with Kudus joking that Spence has already been vocal about how he plans to deal with him on the pitch.

Spence has his famous penitentiary where he locks up several top wingers, and he is looking to add Kudus to that list.

Revealing what the full-back told him, Kudus told TNT Sports: “Yeah, Djed said he is going to pocket me, but I think time will tell. It is very exciting and it is nice to have a country like England in our group. I am looking forward to that.”

Djed Spence must keep World Cup hopes alive at Tottenham

With the World Cup still months away, both players must remain focused on their club duties.

A spot in the England squad is not guaranteed for Spence, with Gary Neville and Roy Keane suggesting that Thomas Tuchel has alternatives to choose from.

Spence only made his senior England breakthrough in August, and he must continue performing strongly for Tottenham if he is to secure his place on the plane.
