Football.London’s Alasdair Gold has said that while Tottenham Hotspur are continuing to monitor for ‘any late opportunities’, Juventus duo Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancour are expected to be the only two arrivals as things stand.
Spurs have reportedly completed swoops for both Kulusevski and Bentancour (Fabrizio Romano), with only official announcements now pending from the club.
The Evening Standard revealed on their live transfer blog (31/01/22 ay 9:40 am) earlier today that Spurs could look to make other additions before the deadline, with a right wing-back and a striker said at the top of the North London club’s wishlist.
Gold has now also stated that Spurs do wish to add a right wing-back to the squad before the window closes.
However, he revealed that while the Lilywhites are on the lookout for potential opportunities, the Juve duo might be the only two players to arrive through the door this month.
The journalist added that Spurs did enquire about Atletico Madrid’s Yannick Carrasco but insisted their pursuit of the 28-year-old did not move any further.

Given that we do not appear to be in talks with any other players, it does seem highly likely that Kulusevski and Bentancour will be our only two signings this month. I suspect Paratici will now be focused on offloading the likes of Dele, Lo Celso and Doherty before the deadline.
