On the back of Tottenham’s loss in the North London derby, Cristian Romero has taken to social media to call on his teammates to keep their heads up and finish the season strongly.
The game on Sunday did not go the way Tottenham fans would have hoped, with the away side building a near-assailable 3-0 lead in the first half.
Although the Lilywhites fought back in the second half with a couple of goals to add some respectability to the scoreline, those strikes proved to be mere consolations in the end.
Ange Postecoglou admitted in his post-match press conference that the team let the fans down with the errors they made on such a big occasion (Football.London).
The Australian acknowledged that while Spurs were decent in their general play, he suggested that they made some poor decisions and lost focus at key moments of the game, which ended up costing them.
