‘More to come’ – Kane and Son react to Richarlison’s first Spurs goals

Harry Kane and Son Heung-min have both taken to social media to congratulate Richarlison on opening his account in front of goal in a Tottenham shirt.

Richarlison was extremely unlucky not to get on the scoresheet in Tottenham’s 2-1 win over Fulham on Saturday as the Brazilian saw an effort come off the post and a goal ruled out by VAR for offside.

However, the 25-year-old put things right on Wednesday as he produced two excellent headed finishes in his Champions League debut after Marseille were reduced to ten men at the start of the second half.

The former Everton man deservingly picked up the Player of the Match award for his display, with both Kane and Son posing with the forward and his trophy in the dressing room after the final whistle.

Kane took to Twitter to state that it will be the first of many goals for Richarlison in a Tottenham shirt.

Meanwhile, Son labelled the Brazilian as a ‘special’ player and also praised the atmosphere at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Spurs Web Opinion

One can tell from the way the likes of Hojbjerg, Perisic and Kane have talked about Richarlison over recent days that the Brazilian is already very popular in the dressing room. That is not surprising, given how hard he works for the team both on and off the ball.
