Most valuable Premier League XI revealed- Only one Spurs star makes the cut

It has been revealed this week that Manchester City have broken another football record by becoming the first team in world football to amass a squad worth £1 billion pounds. This shows the massive wealth that the club has and how hard it is for other Premier League clubs to compete.

In light of this record, TalkSport have created the most valuable Premier League XI using Transfermarkt. The team doesn’t contain any real surprises and is dominated by Manchester City and Liverpool players. However, Spurs fans will be happy to hear that Harry Kane is the most valuable player in the team

Kane makes it into the team up front ahead of Sergio Aguero, with a whopping valuation of £135 million. This puts him on par with Mohamed Salah as the most expensive player in the team.

Despite this Tottenham fans may be disappointed that some of their other top talents such as Christian Eriksen and Heung-Min Son did not make the team.

Spurs Web Opinion

This is a mixed bag for Spurs fans. Kane being the most valuable player is surprising after he had arguably his worst season for Tottenham last year. However, you could make a case for a few other Spurs players being in there who didn’t get in.
