Mourinho admits that he will be ‘trying something new’ in midfield against Norwich

Tottenham Hotspur managed to add another three points to their tally this afternoon in the Boxing Day rain as the boys defeated Brighton 2-1.

Spurs went 1-0 down in the match after a bullet header from Brighton, before Harry Kane and Dele Alli both added lovely finishes to bounce back from the Chelsea defeat.

However, it wasn’t all smiles for the Tottenham boys, as both Harry Winks and Moussa Sissoko were booked against the Albion.

This means that each of the midfield duo will be banned for the upcoming match against Norwich away from home in just 48 hours.

Not only this, but Tanguy Ndombele also missed today’s game completely after fears that he may pick up an injury (Football London). Dele Alli could also be seen holding his groin towards the end of the match.

This could leave Mourinho with just the likes of Eric Dier, Oliver Skipp, Christian Eriksen, Victor Wanyama, and Giovani Lo Celso to choose from.

When asked ‘is this an opportunity to try something new in midfield’, Jose Mourinho responded ‘I have to!’ (Football London).
