Mourinho asked whether he has inside information on Chelsea after admission last season

Jose Mourinho has remained coy on whether he has any inside information from Chelsea about what team the Blues will play or the tactics they will employ for their clash against Tottenham on Sunday.

The Spurs boss is a legend at Stamford Bridge, having won three league titles during his time in London but it is fair to say that his relationship with Chelsea fans has hit rock bottom over the last few years.

Mourinho cheekily remarked ahead of Tottenham’s trip to the Bridge back in February that he was told Chelsea would revert to a back five for the derby but refused to reveal the source of his information.

Reacting to the Tottenham boss’ words, Lampard claimed that he had to be careful about who he could trust at Chelsea, admitting that there could potentially be leaks given Mourinho’s history at the club.

As it happened, an injury-ravaged Spurs side ended up losing the game 2-1 on the day.

Mourinho has decided not to engage in similar mind games this time around, remaining secretive ahead of the match.

When asked if he knows what team Chelsea will play, the Portuguese coach told Football.London: “Not yet or probably not, I don’t know.

“With such an amazing squad, to play James or Azpilicueta, to play Chilwell, Alonso or Emerson?

“To play Mendy or the most expensive goalkeeper in the history of the Premier League? Chelsea has an amazing squad, so I am not even worried about who is going to play because they only have very good players.”
