Mourinho asked whether Kane, Son, Bale and Dele can all play together

Jose Mourinho was asked in his press conference today whether Harry Kane, Heung-min Son, Gareth Bale and Dele Alli could all play together in a Tottenham shirt.

The Spurs head coach made the good point that, towards the end of the game against West Ham, all four of these players were on the pitch together.

The Lilywhites arguably looked at their most dangerous for the final 30 minutes of the game against the Hammers, although they still lost 2-1.

Mourinho admitted that the four players did not start the game together but also added that he would not be giving away his future team selections.

One would assume that a formation including all four stars would see Harry Kane lead the line, Dele Alli play at number 10, and Heung-min Son and Gareth Bale at left and right-wing respectively.

Dele and Bale have struggled for Premier League minutes this season but seem to be playing their way back into Mourinho’s plans with recent Europa League performances.

Mourinho said (Football London): “Did you give me four names or 11? You want to give the other seven?

“You could see against West Ham, it’s not from the start, but you had Bale, Lucas, Harry, Sonny, Dele so you had it. We didn’t turn the game around but we left the game with positive feelings.”
