Mourinho asked whether Spurs will replace Walker-Peters with new right-back

Tottenham Hotspur may not have purchased any players in the January transfer market as of yet, but reports indicate that they may be close to sending someone the other way.

The Daily Mail reported this week that Crystal Palace looked set to sign Spurs right-back Kyle Walker-Peters on loan for the next six months.

Walker-Peters has struggled for game time in North London this season, despite starting the first three matches of the Premier League season under Pochettino.

Jose Mourinho seems set on Serge Aurier as his first-choice right-back, with the Ivorian playing near enough every game for the Special One so far.

Roy Hodgson, Crystal Palace manager, claimed that his club were working hard with the Walker-Peters deal and that he hoped to get the signing done.

Mourinho was less open about the transfer dealings, saying it was up to Daniel Levy. He also said that they would have to wait and see if they were to replace Walker-Peters.
