Mourinho provides injury update on Hugo Lloris

Tottenham Hotspur captain and keeper, Hugo Lloris, missed out on the match against Wolves at the weekend due to a groin injury.

Paulo Gazzaniga came into the starting line-up, but was able to do little more than pick the ball out of his net three times in the Premier League loss.

Lloris had been performing well since returning from his long-term dislocated elbow injury sustained in October 2019, but finds himself on the sidelines again.

The 33-year-old has already been ruled out of the FA Cup fifth-round clash against Norwich City at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium tomorrow night.

However, in a latest update, Jose Mourinho has refused to rule the Frenchman out for a return at the weekend in the Premier League.

Tottenham are set for an away trip to Burnley in the league as they look to bounce back from back-to-back defeats in the competition against both Chelsea and Wolves.
