Mourinho reveals ‘many players’ have spoken to him about lack of minutes – Names one

Jose Mourinho has now revealed that many of his players have come to speak with him about their lack of minutes on the pitch this season.

Spurs are in the midst of a rebuild under the Special One, with seven new names coming through the Hotspur Way doors in the summer.

However, it would be hard to argue against the majority of Mourinho’s selection decisions as Tottenham currently sit at the summit of the Premier League table.

The Spurs head coach was asked today whether Harry Winks had come to speak with him about his lack of Premier League minutes, which Mourinho confirmed.

However, he added that Winks was not the only one to raise such concerns, although he did not name any other Tottenham players.

Winks has not appeared on the pitch for Spurs in the Premier League since the 3-3 result against West Ham United in October, and has been left out of the matchday squad for five of the last seven games (TransferMarkt).

Mourinho said (Football London): “Yes he came to me. Not just him. Many players come to me. I have my office on the first floor and a little space on the ground floor by the dressing room to make it so easy for them. Yes, Winks came to speak with me, yes.”
