Mourinho reveals whether Gareth Bale will be fit to face Fulham

Jose Mourinho has revealed that he believes Gareth Bale will be fit to face Fulham tomorrow evening in the Premier League.

However, the Spurs head coach did add that he was not yet sure whether the Welshman would start the match or appear off the bench.

Last time out, Bale finally looked to have turned a corner in a Lilywhite shirt since his sensational return to North London in the summer on loan from Real Madrid.

The winger managed to score one and assist one early on against Burnley at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium before adding a second goal to his tally after the break.

Over his last four appearances in all competitions, Bale has recorded an impressive four goals and three assists (TransferMarkt).

After witnessing a Gareth Bale masterclass against Burnley at the weekend, Spurs fans will be dying to see him continue that momentum into the London derby against Fulham on Thursday.

Mourinho said (Football London): “I think so. Starting or starting on the bench I don’t know. He’s a very experienced player. Good reaction though [after the Burnley game].”
