Mourinho reveals whether Harry Kane or Carlos Vinicius will start against West Ham

Despite playing 90 minutes against Denmark this week for England, Jose Mourinho has revealed that Harry Kane will start the Premier League match against West Ham on Sunday.

There were questions over the England captain’s fitness after he was left on the bench for the Nation’s League match against Belgium last week (Sun).

However, Gareth Southgate revealed that it was nothing more than muscle fatigue and Kane even went on to make a 30-minute cameo in the match.

It appears that Tottenham fans will also get their first glimpse of new signing, Carlos Vinicius this weekend after the Benfica striker joined on loan at the end of the window.

Jonathan Veal has reported that Kane will make the starting XI and Vinicius will take his place on the bench on Sunday, as revealed by Mourinho in his press conference.

This is the first time that Spurs have been able to name a senior second-choice striker in North London since Fernando Llorente left in 2019.
