Mourinho reveals whether Harry Kane will play in Europa League

Jose Mourinho has revealed that Harry Kane will play in Tottenham’s Europa League knockout second leg against Dinamo Zagreb this week.

This comes after the star striker played 90 minutes in the 2-1 loss against Arsenal at the weekend and with Spurs having to fly to Croatia for the European match.

Kane proved to be the difference in the first Round of 16 leg at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last week, scoring twice in a 2-0 win for the Lilywhites and taking his chances clinically.

Mourinho revealed that the game with Zagreb is still open and it is an important match so Harry Kane will play. Mourinho didn’t say whether the striker would start or come off the bench, but his words heavily implied another start for the England captain.

Talking of England, Kane will likely meet up with his Three Lions teammates during the international break after the Aston Villa game at the weekend.

On whether Kane would play against Zagreb, Mourinho said (Football London): “Kane is going to play. The game is open and it’s an important game so he plays for us.”
