Jose Mourinho has revealed that he does not expect any incoming signings or outgoing departures before the January transfer window slams shut in the next few days.
Tottenham were extremely active in the summer window but have yet to bring in any first-team signings during the winter market.
However, the Spurs head coach did cover all bases by saying that unexpected things can happen in the transfer window.
Mourinho was asked specifically whether he thought that Dele Alli would remain a Tottenham player beyond the deadline, to which he explained the lack of expected outgoings.
Dele Alli has been heavily linked with a potential move to PSG throughout January as the English midfielder has struggled for minutes in North London this season.
In fact, Fabrizio Romano reported this week that Dele was close to sealing a loan move to the French club, while The Athletic claimed that Alli was keen on linking up with Pochettino again and Mourinho was open to the idea.
#thfc Asked about Dele, Mourinho says he doesn't expect anyone to leave or anyone to join before Monday's transfer deadline. "Sometimes unexpected things can happen but I don't expect it," he said. Adds that Dele is injured and won't be involved vs Liverpool.
