Mourinho visits Spurs star’s house, brings him wine, and calls him on the phone – says agent

Lucas Moura’s agent, Junior Pedroso, has now revealed that Jose Mourinho has been known to stop by the Spurs star’s house without warning.

The Tottenham boss apparently lives close by to the Lucas family and often stops by when he passes the ex-PSG man’s residence.

Pedroso revealed in an interview with Jorge Nicola that, despite Lucas not drinking wine, Mourinho brings a bottle to his house and even calls him up on the phone for a joke or two.

Moura joined Tottenham in the 2018 January transfer window after playing for PSG across six seasons, winning four league titles, appearing 229 times, and scoring 46 goals (Wikipedia).

Although Moura was not always a starter under Pochettino, the Brazilian winger has been one of the first names on the teamsheet since Mourinho arrived in North London.

Pedroso’s comments have now revealed that the player and head coach clearly have a great relationship, both on and off the field.

When asked if Mourinho was difficult to deal with, Pedroso said (relayed by Sport Witness): “By no means. On the contrary. Nowadays he goes to Lucas’ house. They live nearby, in Barnet. So he passes by Lucas’ house sometimes out of nowhere.

“He takes wine. Lucas doesn’t drink, but he takes a wine, he calls Lucas to say he had a haircut. It’s funny.”

It should be pointed out that Pedroso is not claiming that Mourinho is visiting Moura during lockdown, he is speaking generally.
