Mousa Dembele is posting some impressive stats in China

Tottenham Hotspur may have reached the Champions League final last season, but there is still a huge hole in their midfield.

Spurs have failed to sign a single player in the last 16 months, despite deciding to sell first-team regular Mousa Dembele back in January.

Dembele moved to the Chinese Super League in the last transfer window, and it is safe to say that he is taking to life in his new home.

In just 11 matches, Dembele has already racked up one goal and four assists, despite famously being short on either during his time at Spurs.

In fact, during his whole Spurs career, Dembele only ever bagged 10 goals, despite playing nearly 250 games.

The big Belgian has also recorded an impressive 83 touches per match and a pass accuracy average of 89%, unsurprising for a man of his talents on the ball.

It was unfortunate that Dembele’s Spurs career ended in an injury and the fans did not get the chance to wish him a proper farewell, but we hope he continues to keep up his fine form in China.
