Moussa Sissoko claims one Spurs star ‘misses me more than I miss him’

Moussa Sissoko has taken to social media to claim that Son Heung-min misses him more than he misses the South Korean.

Sissoko departed Tottenham in the summer to join Watford following five seasons at North London.

While the Frenchman did not have a particularly positive start to his time at Spurs following his move from Newcastle in 2016, he managed to eventually win the Tottenham faithful over, particularly impressing during the club’s run to the Champions League final in 2019.

The 32-year-old was not only a cult hero among the fans but he was also extremely popular with his teammates at Spurs.

The midfielder has hit the ground running since his move to Watford, even being handed the captain’s armband – although he has his work cut out to help the Hornets preserve their Premier League status.

Six months on from leaving Tottenham, Sissoko has now taken to social media to reveal how much Son misses him.

The former Spurs man wrote on his Instagram story about the 29-yer-old: “He misses me more than I miss him.”

Given the amount of hate that Sissoko was getting from Spurs fans in his first two years at the club, he showed tremendous character to soldier on and eventually win the fan base over. For his sake, I hope that Watford managed to somehow beat the drop.
