Moussa Sissoko sends heartfelt message and apology to Spurs fans

Moussa Sissoko has taken to Twitter to issue to apology to the Tottenham Hotspur fans after they witnessed another defeat.

The Spurs faithful had been hoping for a response to the embarrassing 7-2 loss to Bayern Munich but were outplayed and outfought in every aspect of the game against Brighton this afternoon.

Sissoko has insisted that the poor run of form has nothing to do with a lack of desire from the players and has urged the supporters to continue to get behind the team.

The Frenchman has to be respected for coming out and having his say on the current problems when the vast majority of his team-mates haven’t even bothered to thank the fans on their respective accounts.

He was one of Tottenham’s better performers this afternoon in the 3-0 loss to Brighton despite having to play the unfamiliar position of right-back.

Mauricio Pochettino now must wait a fortnight for another opportunity to put things right when Watford are the visitors to North London.
