Moussa Sissoko sends message of intent to Spurs fans

Moussa Sissoko has taken to Instagram to send a fighting message to the Tottenham fans following an abysmal performance against Sheffield United on Thursday.

Spurs suffered a heavy 3-1 defeat away to Chris Wilder’s United side and have received deserved criticism since.

However, the Spurs midfielder delivered a message of intent to the North London faithful on Instagram on Saturday.

“We stick together and we will fight together until the end,” said Sissoko on his personal Instagram.

This comes after his side received heavy criticism for showing no fight against the Blades in their midweek defeat from their own manager, Jose Mourinho (Football.London).

The Portuguese boss said he was “disturbed” by the lack of fight within the Spurs players during the defeat with the Premier League newcomers having simply outfought his side in every department (Metro).

Spurs return to Premier League action on tomorrow night when Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton visit the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Sissoko is saying the right things, however, talk is cheap and the players need to show their ‘fight’ on the field. Sissoko was shocking on Thursday and really should be dropped ahead of the game on Monday after that performance, however, only time will tell.
