Multiple journalists report ‘surprise’ update in Pedro Porro to Spurs transfer

Multiple journalists have provided a new update on Tottenham’s pursuit of Pedro Porro this evening, as Spurs fans everywhere hold their breath.

Meanwhile, Bruno Andrade has reported that further talks were not expected between Tottenham and Sporting Lisbon today, but conversations are taking place ‘to see what the result will be’.

Sky Sports’ Dharmesh Sheth has also confirmed that Porro wants to play in Sporting’s cup final tomorrow because ‘he wants to go out with a bang’.

This comes after Fabrizio Romano claimed that all parties expect the deal to be completed by the end of the weekend.

Spurs Web Opinion:

This could just be Sporting dragging things out for one more day just to ensure Pedro Porro can play in the cup final, especially if Tottenham had initially said no to that idea. Of course, it will backfire for everyone involved if he gets injured tomorrow.
