Multiple sources are now reporting that Tottenham Hotspur have agreed on a deal with Swansea City for Joe Rodon (The Telegraph and Sky Sports).
It now looks like a nervous wait for Spurs fans to see if all the paperwork went through without any glitches before the 5 pm deadline.
Over the past few days, reports have made contradictory claims on how much the deal could be worth.
The Athletic revealed earlier in the week that Spurs are hopeful of getting the transfer done for a little more than £7m.
However, both Duncan Castles (Transfer Window Podcast) and Alasdair Gold suggested that Swansea were demanding close to £20m.
It looks like the final transfer fee agreed between the two clubs is somewhere in the middle, with Sky Sports’ Paul Gilmour reporting that Spurs have agreed to pay £11m plus add-ons.
BBC Wales’ Gareth Vincent is reporting a similar figure as he suggested that the deal could be worth closer to £15m with the bonuses.
£11m plus add ons is the fee for Joe Rodon to #thfc from Swansea. Awaiting news of the deal being officially ratified
