All the attention over the last few hours has been on Tottenham’s capture of Joe Rodon from Swansea City.
Just as Spurs have bought one centre-back through the door in Rodon, it looks like another one may have sealed a move away.
Multiple sources are now reporting that Cameron Carter-Vickers is on his way to Bournemouth, although there has been no confirmation from either Spurs or the Cherries regarding the transfer at this point.
Football.London’s Alasdair Gold did suggest on Thursday that Carter-Vickers was the most likely Tottenham player to leave on deadline day and it looks as though that may have come to fruition.
The USA international has spent the last couple of seasons on loan at different Championship clubs and has had varying degrees of success.
It now looks as if he will aid the Cherries’ bid to get back into the top flight this season, with journalist Graeme Bailey suggesting that the paperwork has gone through in time.
Bournemouth look to have got deal for Cameron Carter-Vickers over the line…they first moved for him weeks ago but had been waiting to clear wages.

Sky Sports also claimed that Bournemouth were on the verge of signing the Spurs defender on a season-long loan deal.
