Multiple sources claim Paratici could launch move for Argentine forward

Multiple reports from Italy are now reporting that Tottenham Hotspur could make a move for Lazio forward Joaquin Correa this summer.

Correa has delivered consistently since moving to the Italian capital from Sevilla in 2018 and the striker is coming off arguably his best campaign so far, registering 11 goals and 6 assists in all competitions.

The versatile forward, who is capable of playing out wide or as a number ten, was first linked with a move to Tottenham by Gazzetta who reported last week that the Lilywhites were eyeing a move for the 26-year-old, who was valued at £34m.

The print editions of Corriere dello Sport and Il Tempo (as relayed by Sport Witness) have now backed up the suggestion that Spurs are interested in Correa.

Corriere dello Sport claim that Lazio are trying to sign Julian Brandt from Borussia Dortmund and are thus willing to cash in on the Argentina international.

The report reveals that Fabio Paratici tried in vain to take Correa to Juventus last summer and could now look to bring him to North London.

Meanwhile, Il Tempo reveal that Arsenal and West Ham could challenge Spurs for the Lazio star’s signature.
