My best possible Tottenham XI for the start of next season

Tottenham Hotspur will surely be active in the transfer market this summer after enduring 16 months without a single signing.

The Champions League finalist status may also be enough to draw in some talented young players, along with the lure of Pochettino as a manager.

Spurs have already been linked to a number of stars this summer, but this would be my perfect starting XI for the new season:

Hugo Lloris starts in goal, as I believe he redeemed himself enough towards the end of last season to warrant another year as number one.

I have picked a familiar back four, with just one addition. Danny Rose, Jan Vertonghen, and Toby Alderweireld start, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka coming in to replace the out-of-form Trippier.

In midfield, Tanguy Ndombele comes in to partner Winks in what could be a formidable midfield pairing.

Son and Alli then line up behind Harry Kane as usual, with the minor addition of Leicester superstar James Maddison, who replaces the outgoing Christian Eriksen.

What do you think of this team?
