Sunderland have become the latest club to be linked with a move for Tottenham winger Nacer Chadli.
The Belgian midfielder was last week mooted to be part of a swap deal to bring PSV’s Memphis Depay to White Hart Lane, although that rumour seems to have lost some traction.
Chadli joined Spurs last summer in a £7million deal but to date has failed to hold down a regular first-team place under both AVB and Tim Sherwood. Having been on World Cup duty, it remains to be seen if he has a future at the club under Mauricio Pochettino.
The Sunday People are also reporting that Sunderland are keen on Chadli, but are claiming that Gus Poyet wants the player on a season-long loan while Spurs would prefer to sell him outright.
