Neal Maupay has now seemingly reignited his feud with James Maddison, with the Brentford star appearing to mock the Tottenham man’s omission from the England squad for the Euros.

The clash between Spurs and Brentford at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium back in February was quite emotionally charged, with tackles flying through the 90 minutes and the players getting involved in quite a few altercations.
The Tottenham players evidently did not like it when Maupay used James Maddison’s signature darts celebration after giving the Bees the lead in the first half, with the likes of Brennan Johnson mocking the Frenchman when Spurs completed the turnaround at the start of the second period.
The back and forth between the players continued after the final whistle, with Maddison telling TNT Sports (via BBC Sport) that Maupay was copying his celebration as the Brentford striker had not scored enough goals to come up with his own.
The former Brighton star hit back on social media, pointing out on Instagram that he has more goals and fewer relegations in his career than the Tottenham midfielder.

Maupay reignites fued with James Maddison
Earlier this week, Maddison received the heartbreaking news that he had been left out of the final 26-man England squad travelling to Germany for the Euros.
The former Leicester man was understandably devastated by the news, taking to social media to admit his disappointment but insisted that he would take it on the chin, adding that he will be fully behind his international teammates this summer.
Maupay has now seemingly mocked Maddison by taking to social media to post a picture of himself in front of a dartboard.
Spurs Web Opinion
I personally did not mind the war of words between Maupay and Maddison when it happened as I liked the fact that both players had some fire in their bellies.
However, for the Brentford striker to still keep carrying on four months later is extremely weird. To mock a fellow professional at one of the worst moments of his career does not reflect well on the Frenchman.
