Jose Mourinho’s selection options at left-back have become limited in recent weeks with only Ben Davies to choose from.
Sergio Reguilon has not featured in five of Tottenham Hotspur’s last Premier League fixtures with the North Londoners having suffered defeat in four of those encounters.
The Spaniard has been sidelined with a muscular injury after undergoing scans to learn the extent of the problem following the FA Cup win against Wycombe last month in which he was an unused substitute (Evening Standard).
Spurs boss Jose Mourinho hinted last week that the former Real Madrid man has a chance of featuring in Thursday’s Europa League clash against Wolfsberger (Spurs official).
Reguilon’s partner Marta Diaz uploaded video footage to her Instagram story yesterday showing the 24-year-old moving freely while he played keep-up’s with a ball inside their home.
The footage has been met with positivity by some Spurs fans on social media who are encouraged to see the Spanish international back on his feet.
Is this now set up for Mourinho to say “he isn’t fit and has not kicked a ball in weeks”

Impressive he did that with Aladdin’s trousers on.

Hope he’s fit to play. Ben Davies is running on an empty tank. He hasn’t been rotated in a long time.

Just need him and Gio back and settled CB partnership and I think we’ll turn a corner. That CB partnership needs to be Toby and Rodon

Give him a half or 60 mins against Wolfsberger to get him up to speed and then back for West Ham
