Tottenham Hotspur inched past a 10-man Cardiff City last weekend in a game marked with controversy.
While playing decent football, Spurs struggled to find that final killer ball to get the second goal and end the game.
Cardiff battled until the final whistle in a gutsy performance, with their manager having plenty to say come full time.
Mid-way through the second half, Lucas Moura managed to turn his man and knock the ball past him into space.
The defender, Joe Ralls, decided to shop the Brazilian down with a high, aggressive challenge completely off the ball, and was subsequently give a red.
Neil Warnock was not impressed with the decision, or the reaction of Kane and his team mates to surround the guilty player and referee.
As quoted in a BBC article, Warnock called the sending off ‘very soft’ and accused Kane of ‘trying to make an issue of it’.
Despite claims referee Mike Dean was originally going for a yellow, BBC report the appeal lodged by Cardiff has been turned down, meaning a panel of refs with replays to watch agreed with the red card decision.
Ralls will now miss the next three games.
