Lucas Bergvall has admitted that he is nervous and excited about linking up with Tottenham Hotspur this summer, revealing that he has already secured a flat in London.

It cannot be easy for an 18-year-old to uproot from his country, move to London and be thrust into the limelight of the Premier League.
While it seems clear that Bergvall has the talent to cope with the demands, the youngster will also need to adapt mentally to the high-pressure environment at the North London club and would need to be eased into proceedings by the coaching staff at Tottenham.
The teenager has now said that while he cannot wait to get started with Spurs, he wants to finish his career back at Djurgardens.
When asked about his impending move, Bergvall told Aftonbladet: “It’s clear that I am nervous and excited about coming to the Premier League and a big club and seeing how they work.
“It feels good, but also sad to leave. I have been here for 1.5 years and this is my family. It’ll [return] probably be in 17-18 years maybe. I will round off my career here.”
The youngster revealed that through the help of Spurs, he has been able to get a flat at a well-connected locality relatively close to the training ground.
When asked about his living arrangement in London, he said: “I have secured a flat that we have been helped with by Tottenham. It’s a priority that it’s close to the site rather than central London.
“It’s also quite close to a tube station so you can get to the centre without the traffic, so it’s very well located. There are several players who live in that area.”

Lucas Bergvall has been in touch with Tottenham
Bergvall also explained that while Tottenham have been in regular contact to check in on things, they have largely taken a hands-off approach and allowed him to focus on doing well for Djurgardens.
When asked how much contact he has had with the Premier League side since signing, the Sweden international said: “They have left it quite free to me and they know that I want to focus on Djurgardens recently. But it’s clear that we have had contact.
“After Malmo at home, I had a meal with their sporting director in Stockholm, but it has been at a good level. It has been neither too much nor too little.”
Spurs Web Opinion
While a lot has been said about the difficulty of getting adjusted to Premier League football for Bergvall, settling off the pitch is generally just as big a challenge for young players when they arrive.
However, one would think that the youngster would not have too much trouble as he speaks fluent English and also has Kulusevski to lean on.
