Fabrizio Romano has said that new contacts are expected between Tottenham and Club Brugge over the ‘next days’ as the North London club aim to swiftly conclude a deal for Antonio Nusa.
From a Spurs perspective, the last couple of days have been dominated by reports about the club’s pursuit of Nusa.
In fact, Football Insider even reported on Saturday that the Lilywhites were closing in on the deal after holding talks overnight on Friday with Brugge about the winger.

The race is still open for Spurs target Antonio Nusa
Romano has now revealed on his YouTube channel that conversations between the English and the Belgian sides are still ongoing about the 18-year-old, with ‘new contacts’ expected over the coming days.
He explains that Nusa wants to remain at Brugge until the end of the season and that Spurs are willing to accept such an arrangement.
However, Romano makes it clear that other clubs are still circling over the winger, with the race still being ‘open’, which he provides as the reason why Spurs ‘want to be fast’ in striking a deal for the teenager.
Spurs Web Opinion
By the sounds of it, Tottenham want the deal to be finalised within a few days. However, Spurs fans should not be surprised if there are some twists and turns in this transfer story as one would expect other clubs to also spring into action after hearing of the Lilywhites’ move for the teenager.
