‘Next hours’ – Fabrizio Romano reveals Vlahovic could leave Fiorentina this month

Fabrizio Romano has revealed that rumoured Tottenham Hotspur target Dusan Vlahovic might be on his way to Juventus before the transfer window shuts.

Over the last few weeks, both Tottenham Hotspur (Gazzetta dello Sport) and Arsenal (The Athletic) have been heavily linked with a move for Vlahovic.

Fiorentina CEO Joe Barone has said that Fiorentina are open to cashing in on the Serbian international before the January window closes (SportMediaset via Football Italia).

However, 90min reported last week that the 21-year-old had no intention of being forced into a move this month and that he preferred to leave at the end of the season so that he would have more options to chose from.

Romano has now taken to social media to reveal that Juve are set to submit an official offer for Vlahovic in the ‘next hours’.

The journalist stated that talks between the clubs are ongoing and that the centre-forward will now decide whether he wants to move to the Allianz Stadium.

I would not be surprised if this move goes through as it always seemed like Juventus would be Vlahovic’s preferred destination.

The only question mark was whether Massimiliano Allegri’s side could afford to pay Fiorentina’s asking price this month.

It could now be the case that the Serie A club have reduced their asking price as they realise that the striker would be worth even less in the summer due to his contract situation.
