Brazil international Neymar has revealed his admiration for Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane along with Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho.

Kane is currently in Qatar as part of England’s World Cup squad, while Sancho was overlooked for selection by Gareth Southgate after having an indifferent season to date at Old Trafford.

England kick off their World Cup campaign against Iran on Monday while Brazil find themselves in Group G along with Serbia, Switzerland and Cameroon.

The Paris Saint-Germain striker namedropped the pair when asked who his favourite English players are he told The Telegraph: “I really like Kane and Sancho. They’re two incredible players and I have a special love for them because I like players that have their qualities.”

Kane scooped the Golden Boot at the 2018 World Cup in Russia and will be hoping to come away from Qatar with not only the same accolade, but also the Jules Rimet trophy, having come up short in last summer’s Euro 2020 final against Italy.

A lot of England’s hopes will rest on the Spurs marksman after the conclusion of the group stages, however, he has on occasion gone missing in big matches in the past and will want to lead from the front.
