‘Nice man’ – Sissoko admits he misses departed Spurs star

Moussa Sissoko admitted that he misses Christian Eriksen at Tottenham during a Q and A with the fans.

Eriksen departed Spurs during the January transfer window, with the midfielder only having six months left to run on his contract with the Lilywhites at the time.

It was clear from the Amazon documentary that the Dane was keen to have a new adventure at Inter Milan after spending six and a half years in North London.

However, things have not gone according to plan for him at Inter so far as he has struggled to establish himself in the side.

He was linked with a move away from the Nerrazuri during the transfer window just half a season after joining the club, with a return to Spurs also rumoured to be on the cards (Football Insider).

Eriksen ended up staying at the San Siro and has continued to struggle at the start of this campaign.

However, it looks like the midfielder is still loved by his former Spurs teammates.

When Sissoko was asked on Instagram if he misses Eriksen, he responded (as relayed by Football.London): “Yes. Nice man and an amazing player.”

Sissoko also revealed that Eriksen’s compatriot, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg was now the best UNO player at the club and described Son Heung-min as “a strange man”.
