“The clubs have agreed”

Niko Kranjcar

Niko Kranjcar appears to have confirmed he is set to leave Tottenham for Dynamo Kiev.

The Croatian midfielder has been quoted by a website from his native country claiming that a deal has been agreed between both clubs.

Kranjcar has found himself out of favour at White Hart Lane over the past two seasons behind the likes of Luka Modric, Scott Parker, Gareth Bale and Rafael van der Vaart in Harry Redknapp’s plans.  Redknapp has stated many times of his admiration for the 27-year-old, but finds it hard to slot him into his side.

He has previously admitted that a big-money move would tempt him to eastern Europe.

“The clubs have agreed,” Kranjcar told Croatian website Jutarnji List.

“Now all that remains are some small details as I agree personal terms.

“I personally am not involved with that. I have left that to the people that represent me as I am concentrating on the Euros.”
