N’Koudou’s Burnley loan agreed

Georges-Kevin N’Koudou has joined Burnley on loan for the rest of the season according to articles various news outlets including Sky Sports News

The 22-year-old Frenchman underwent a medical in the north-west on Tuesday and he could be available for the Clarets’ next Premier League clash with Crystal Palace at the weekend.

The article adds that N’Koudou has struggled to make an impact over 18 months at Spurs and is in need of regular game making just 23 appearances since arriving from Marseille in 2016 but never started a Premier League match.

In fact N’Koudou’s one and only start this season came in the Champions League game against APOEL at Wembley in December when he scored in a 3-0 win.

It adds how he also came on for the last 12 minutes in the FA Cup tie against AFC Wimbledon on Sunday, which we also won 3-0, and his chances for games this term was not helped by an injury suffered against Newcastle on the opening day. His chances would be further limited following the return to fitness of Erik Lamela

N’Koudou signed for a fee of around £11m in a deal that saw Clinton NJie move to the French club on loan. We wish Georges all the best.
