‘No annual leave’ – Linked-away Spurs man hard at work in the gym

Dele Alli has taken to social media to post a picture of himself hard at work in the gym during the off-season.

Alli has already admitted that last season was the most difficult one of his professional career. The midfielder struggled to get minutes under his belt in the first half of the season and seemed likely to leave the club in January.

However, the 25-year-old ended up staying and got a run of matches under his belt at the end of the campaign after Mourinho was sacked and Ryan Mason was temporarily put in charge.

Some reports indicate that Alli only featured in Tottenham’s last five league games of the season since the club wanted to put him in the shop window ahead of the summer.

So it remains to be seen whether the midfielder will still be at Spurs next season but it looks like he is certainly putting in the work that is needed to start the campaign in the best possible shape.

Alli, who was unsurprisingly left out of England’s squad for the Euros, took to Instagram to post a picture of him at the gym, along with the caption: “No annual leave.”
