Some Spurs fans are desperate for the Lilywhites to try and land Eberechi Eze this summer amidst reports that the Queens Park Rangers star is on his way to the Premier League.
Eze has enjoyed an outstanding campaign in the Championship this year and it is no surprise to see the attacking midfielder being linked with a move to the Premier League.
The 21-year-old, who has registered 14 goals and 8 assists this season (transfermarkt.com), was previously reported to be one of Tottenham’s main transfer targets this summer.
However, Spurs do not appear to be the front-runners for Eze’s signature anymore with The Athletic’s David Ornstein revealing that Crystal Palace and West Ham United were Eze’s most likely destination.
Some Spurs fans on social media are convinced that Eze is the man Tottenham need to improve their attack and urged the club to move for the midfielder this summer (The Sun).
😭 I'd LOVE Eze at Spurs https://t.co/UdfjPr6ZUl

Eze is the player we should’ve gone for with the Jack Clarke money, looks a real quality player.

I’d actually love spurs to buy up all these great talents in the championship the main purchase being Eze at QPR but also the RB Spence from middlesbrough and Alfie Devine apparently joining spurs in the coming days. Think it be great business #COYS #THFC

Spurs Web Opinion
I can certainly understand why some Spurs fans are desperate for the club to sign Eze now for a relatively modest fee when we can. He certainly has the ability to go to another Premier League side and triple his value in a short time, thus leaving us cursing Levy’s lack of decisiveness. However, an attacking midfielder is not really top priority this summer. In Dele Alli, Erik Lamela and Giovani Lo Celso, we have three options that Jose seems to trust.
