Harry Redknapp believes that Fulham are the favourites to sign Craig Bellamy.
With Mark Hughes now in charge at Craven Cottage, it’s expected that the Manchester City striker will link up again with his former boss once more.
Redknapp claims that a loan deal for the 31-year-old is not an option and the only chance they have is if he stumps up and pays for a permanent deal.
“He’s never going to come here on loan,” said Redknapp in the Daily Star Sunday.
“He’ll go somewhere and I would think Fulham are favourites now.
“If we want him, we will have to put up the money to sign him.”
