Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to share their thoughts following the announcement of the team ahead of this evening’s Premier League clash against Manchester United

Manchester United are looking to record consecutive away Premier League wins against Spurs for the first time since a run of six in a row between September 2001 and February 2007.

Spurs are looking to end a run of six matches in all competitions without a win prior to the suspension of the campaign due to the coronavirus pandemic, while United are unbeaten in five Premier League games, winning three and drawing two. The Red Devils have kept four clean sheets in that run, as many as they had in their previous 35 Premier League games.

Kane, Son and Sissoko all start for Tottenham as promised by Mourinho. Bergwijn also takes his place in attack. Dier and Sanchez at are named as the central defenders while Vertonghen and Alderweireld are on the bench.

Lucas Moura is not named in the squad.

This is what some of the North London faithful have had to say about Jose Mourinho’s team selection.
