Spurs are one of several clubs to have been linked with Atletico Madrid forward Angel Correa.
According to a report in Sky Sport Italia, Tottenham are one of three clubs to have made an offer to Atleti for Correra, along with AC Milan and Valencia.
The Argentine forward, who ended up with 5 goals and 4 assists in 49 appearances in all competitions last season, is said to be available for €50 million.
The report claims that Milan are locked in negotiations for the 24-year-old forward but aren’t willing to meet Atleti’s valuation. It is claimed that Tottenham and Valencia are ready to pounce if the negotiations between Milan and Atletico break down.
However, some Spurs fans were extremely underwhelmed with the links to Correa, with many suggesting that the all-action forward isn’t good enough to take the club to the next level.
Here’s how some fans reacted to the news on social media:

At this point.. give Parrott the mins and put the money aside for the next transfer window. Dybala is a first team game changer.. This feels like Janssen 2.0 ?

Spurs Web Opinion
He might have had a poor campaign last time out by Correa is just the type of aggressive, all-action forward that Pochettino likes. However, it is likely that he has been identified as one of the alternatives if Spurs fail to land their main targets.
