‘No possibility’ – Former Juventus man makes claim about Spurs and Paratici

Former Juventus director Luciano Moggi has claimed that Fabio Paratici has no chance of being fully integrated at Tottenham Hotspur.

Paratici has certainly had a busy start to life as Tottenham’s managing director of football.

The Italian wasted no time in getting started with rebuilding the squad, moving on several senior players while bringing in young and exciting talent during the transfer window.

The 49-year-old has been seen sitting in the dugout alongside technical performance director Steve Hitchen during Tottenham’s matches, with the pair seen getting extremely animated and even berating the officials.

The Sun reported last week that some Spurs stars are uncomfortable with Paratici’s behaviour in the dug-out, as they feel unable to talk between themselves due to his and Hitchen’s presence.

When this was put to Moggi, who worked closely with Paratici at the Allianz Stadium, the former Juve director confident asserted that his former colleague will struggle to fit in at Tottenham.

When asked about the controversy caused by Paratici’s touchline behaviour, Moggi told TuttoJuve: “I think Paratici has little life there.

“I believe he has no possibility of being fully integrated into the club.

“However, Tottenham are first in the standings. Obviously, the work has a value.”

Paratici strikes me as someone who wears his heart on his sleeve. So, I do not expect him to have any issues fitting in at Spurs. In fact, he already seems to have won Tottenham fans over with the passion he is showing in the dugout during matches.
