Fabrizio Romano has revealed Tottenham target Dusan Vlahovic is currently not in talks with Arsenal over a potential transfer.
The Fiorentina striker, 21, is set to be one of the top names up for grabs in the transfer market in the coming months after telling the club’s chiefs his intentions not to sign a new contract, which expires in the summer of 2023.
Tottenham were one of the sides that chased Vlahovic in the summer having been submerged by intense interest from Manchester City for club talisman Harry Kane, but neither move came to fruition.
However, Spurs have not been alone in their interest, with Arsenal, City and Juventus all keeping tabs on the Serbia international star ahead of a potential £68 million coup.
The Gunners were tipped to have made contact with Vlahovic’s entourage according to Gianluca Di Marzio, but the player’s agents rebuffed said talks and hinted they had bigger aspirations for their client.
Romano has since backed up those claims, stating Mikel Arteta’s side are currently not in contact with Vlahovic, with a striker only planned as an incoming to the Emirates Stadium in the summer.

The Vlahovic merry-go-round continues to spin and it seems as if a move to Arsenal is the unlikeliest from all the interested parties. There will be plenty of interest in him in the coming months, though, considering just how talented he is, and any club will need to be prepared a hefty transfer fee for him.
