Some Tottenham fans on social media have laughed off suggestions that the club are considering a move to sign Aaron Ramsey this summer.
Ramsey has not hit the expected heights at Juventus since his move to Turin last summer and a report in The Sun reveals that the Serie A giants are ready to move the midfielder on after just one season.
It is revealed that Juve have offered Spurs the chance to sign the Wales international and that the Lilywhites are considering making an offer.
The report claims Spurs could snap up the 29-year-old for a reduced transfer fee but that his £400,000-a-week might prove to be a stumbling block.
A season-long loan deal with the Serie A champions subsidising half of the midfielder’s wages is also mentioned as a possibility.
However, some Spurs fans on social media are confident there is no truth behind the rumours given Ramsey’s Arsenal links, as well his substantial salary.
Aaron Ramsey cried as he said farewell to the Emirates, he is not going to say yes I’m coming back to England to play for Tottenham. Let’s move on with this nonsense.

After seeing how emotional he was when leaving Arse I really doubt he would even consider joining Spurs

Aaron Ramsey is never coming spurs so not sure why you lot are even tweeting about you not wanting or even coming to us. Can’t believe he is on 400k 🤦♂️

I’d rather us play with 10 men than have Aaron Ramsey playing for Spurs https://t.co/Bv6OwTUtu6

I honestly don't know how anyone entertains the speculation of Aaron Ramsey joining Spurs.
People just don't bother to think for even a split second anymore.

Zero chance, he’s a former Gunner and he’s on 400k/week

Spurs Web Opinion
Ramsey seems to be the loyal kind and I just cannot imagine him being prepared to ruin his legacy at Arsenal by signing for us. Besides, I do not really see where he would really fit in at Spurs as we are fairly well stocked in terms of attacking midfielders.
