North London Derby date changed due to Spurs and Arsenal Europa League games

Although Tottenham have a crucial London derby coming up against Chelsea this Sunday, a match that is being billed as an acid test for both sides’ title credentials, some fans will already be looking forward to the North London derby next weekend.

With London being placed in Tier 2, the clash against Arsenal will see the return of 2000 Spurs fans to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the first time since March (Evening Standard).

The Gunners are struggling for form at the moment and the game could be a good opportunity for Jose Mourinho’s men to compound their misery.

Football.London reports that the clash has been moved from Saturday, December 5 to Sunday, December 6 as both clubs will be involved in Europa League action next Thursday.

The report reveals that some of Tottenham’s other Premier League fixtures in December have also been rearranged.

Here is Spurs’ modified schedule for next month:

Tottenham vs Arsenal – Sunday, December 6, 4.30 pm kick-off.

Crystal Palace vs Tottenham – Sunday, December 13, 2.15 pm kick-off

Liverpool vs Tottenham – Wednesday, December 16, 8 pm kick-off

Tottenham vs Leicester City – Saturday, December 20, 2.15 pm kick-off
