‘North London is ours’ – Kane, Hojbjerg and others react to 2-0 win over Arsenal

Harry Kane, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Moussa Sissoko, Toby Alderweireld and Sergio Reguilon have all taken to social media to express their delight after Tottenham emerged 2-0 victors in the North London derby.

Jose Mourinho made two changes to the side which drew 0-0 at Stamford Bridge with Toby Alderweireld coming back into the side in place of Joe Rodon after recovering from his injury while Giovani Lo Celso started instead of Tanguy Ndombele, who was forced to sit out the match.

The game took up a predictable pattern in the first half, with both sides not committing too many players forward.

However, the difference in quality Spurs had upfront shone through as Son Heung-min and Harry Kane produced two brilliant finishes to ensure that the home side went into half time with a comfortable lead.

Mourinho’s men then shut shop in the second half as they defended deep and denied the away side any opportunities.

While Kane and Alderweireld were pleased to have fans back at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Reguilon and Hojbjerg revealed their pride at getting the better of the Gunners in their first taste of the North London derby.
