‘Not a good sign’ – Some Spurs fans react to Ryan Sessegnon report

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to social media to give their view on the latest news surrounding Ryan Sessegnon.

The 21-year-old was reportedly keen to complete a last-minute loan move to Fenerbahce before the Turkish transfer window slammed shut last week.

However, despite Nuno agreeing on the deal with the Turkish side’s manager Vitor Pereira, the two clubs could not reach a final agreement over the terms.

Sessegnon was sent out on loan last year to Hoffenheim and the 21-year-old played 29 times for the club in all competitions.

However, since returning to North London – Sessegnon has once again struggled to force his way into Tottenham’s first-team plans.

The England U21 international hasn’t played a minute of Premier League football but did feature in both of the Europa Conference League Qualifiers.

Sessegnon didn’t get the loan move he reportedly desired meaning he has no choice but to fight for his spot under Nuno until at least January.

Spurs Web Opinion:

Sessegnon should really be the natural backup to Sergio Reguilon in that attacking left-back role, so I would expect him to get plenty of rotational minutes this season. You never know, if Reguilon gets injured, he could find himself in the regular starting XI.
