‘Not available’ – Cristian Stellini provides Spurs injury update for Bournemouth clash

Cristian Stellini has provided a team news update to journalists who have attended Tottenham Hotspur’s pre-Bournemouth press conference from Hotspur Way this afternoon.

The Italian is continuing to front the club’s press conferences in his role of acting head coach following the departure of Antonio Conte late last month.

Spurs go into the fixture knowing that only three points will do to keep their hopes of Champions League football alive with Newcastle United and Manchester United currently holding the advantage in the race for a top four finish.

Such is the protocol, the media are informed of the availability of the Spurs squad ahead of the clash against Gary O’Neil’s side.

Spurs are without Rodrigo Bentancur (knee), Yves Bissouma (ankle), Ben Davies (hamstring), Emerson Royal (knee) and Ryan Sessegnon (hamstring) for the visit of the Cherries, however Richarlison is available for selection.

Bournemouth secured only their third away league win of the season against Leicester last weekend and are now aiming to secure back-to-back top-flight away victories for the first time since October 2018.

Stellini told Football.London: “We have only Richy with one week training with us. Only Richy completely back and we recover him, The other players they start to work but work alone so they are not available”
